Enterprise Bihar is a flagship initiative designed to connect existing entrepreneurs and investors from Bihar with national and regional companies and brands seeking expansion in Bihar which is one of India's fastest-growing state economies. With a GSDP growth of 9.5 per cent in 2023-24, Bihar is witnessing strong economic momentum. The state's share in India's population has grown from 8.6 per cent in 2011 to 9.4 per cent in 2023, with population density rising to 1,388 per sq. km, offering a vast and growing consumer base. As per the 2023-24 Household Consumption Expenditure Survey, Bihar's rural Monthly Per Capita Consumption Expenditure of ₹3,670 is the highest among Eastern Indian states, reflecting rising rural purchasing power.

The state has identified high-priority sectors including real estate, food processing, textiles & garments, healthcare and many other. Contributing 2.8 per cent to India's GDP, Bihar attracted $215.8 million in FDI between 2019-25, and recorded a 30 per cent growth in GST collections in March 2025, indicating increasing investor confidence and a vibrant business climate.
